RV Rentals Okanagan BC - Conditions
MUST BE minimum 25 years old to rent from SunFun RV Holidays, produce a valid Drivers License or Birth Certificate for proof of age if requested and produce proof of campsite reservation.
Our RV Rental trailers are equipped with smoke and propane alarms.
When Selecting Your Campsite PLEASE NOTE: We Will NOT Tow our Trailers on GRAVEL ROADS.
RV Rentals Okanagan are on a weekly basis only.
NO SMOKING AND NO PETS ALLOWED inside the RV Rentals due to allergies.
Travel Trailers are supplied with full tanks of propane. Upon pickup of the trailer the propane tanks must be full. Propane cost plus a $20.00 fee will be charged if tank's) are not full at the completion of rental. All propane refueling during the rental is at your expense.
We include free propane for normal trailer use only. Propane tanks are not to be moved and/or used with BBQ's.
All RV Rentals feature a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, 4 burner stove, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishes and utensils for 6, cooking utensils, pots and pans, broom and outdoor carpet. We do not supply bedding, linens, towels, or bathroom supplies. Cooking utensils, dishes, and/or pots and pans are not to be used on BBQ's. RV Toilet Paper MUST be used and will be supplied at an extra charge.
RV dry camping is NOT recommended: the battery power may not last and holding tanks will fill up which is not the responsibility of SunFun RV Holidays. Your campsite must have full hook-ups: sewer, water and power. If your campsite does not have a sewer connection there will be a $30.00 surcharge to empty the tanks paid at reservation time. YOU will be responsible for emptying the holding tanks during your holiday rental time. It is recommended public washrooms be used whenever possible.
Travel Trailer delivery and complete set up is provided to any SunFun RV Holidays approved campsite in our delivery area only.
RV trailers are NOT to be moved or towed once we deliver them to your reserved site.

A $500.00 booking fee must be paid and received by SunFun RV Holidays 7 business days after confirmation of the booking along with proof of a campsite reservation.
In addition to the booking fee - Full rental payment will be received by SunFun RV Holidays thirty(30) days prior to the first day of rental. Failure to have the full payment to SunFun RV Holidays prior to the thirty(30) days of the first rental day will result in another booking being secured and retention of your full booking deposit if another booking is not secured.
A 60 day cancellation notice is required for a full refund of your booking deposit with the retention of a $50.00 cancellation fee. If cancellation is 60 days or less to your first rental day there will be no refund of your deposit unless another booking is secured.
This deposit serves as the booking deposit and during the rental period as the damage/clean up deposit.
The deposit is refunded when the trailer/equipment/contents is inspected and found to be as you received it with all contents accounted for. Refunded deposits may take up to 7 business days after the return of the trailer to allow for a proper post rental inspection of the unit and its contents and for credit card companies to process.
If damage is found after return of the RV Rental, SunFun RV Holidays reserves the right to bill for damages.
A $75.00 fee will be charged for damages requiring a 3rd party repair.
Rates do not include British Columbia's PST or GST.
There is no refund for early departure. If you do leave early, please advise SunFun RV Holidays so we may move the unit in order to avoid possible theft and/or damage to the unit as you will be responsible for the unit during the dates booked.
A valid credit card number and expiry date must be provided at time of booking even though at this time we can only secure bookings with a certified cheque or money order. This is to ensure any extra costs that you may incur over your rental period can be recovered by SunFun RV Holidays.
RV Rental DELIVERY AND CHECK-OUT TIMES:
RV Delivery Time: Every effort will be made to have your trailer ready on site your first day rental at approximately 2:00 p.m. Delivery time can sometimes be effected by events beyond our control such as: traffic, traffic accidents, blocked-in units, flat tires, etc. There will be no refunds for late delivery but you or your campsite will be notified if circumstances beyond our control are going to result in a late delivery. We prefer you on site prior to our departure for orientation.
RV Checkout Time: Can vary from campground to campground however your checkout time for the pull out of the trailer will be NO LATER than 11:00 a.m.
RV Rentals AIR CONDITIONING & PROPANE MALFUNCTIONS:
Air conditioning which malfunctions during a rental period will be repaired as quickly as possible. We will provide fans if needed. Because of our HOT Okanagan weather please be aware that air conditioning units may ice up and BREAK DOWN if windows and/or doors are left open, if they are set to cold and/or left on to long If icing occurs turn off the unit for a few hours. If propane is smelled turn all propane tanks off and advise SunFun RV Holidays if the source is not located and corrected .... Ensure the propane stove is ALWAYS OFF when not in use.
RV Rental PROBLEMS and/or DAMAGE:
Should any problems and/or damage occur regarding either the rv rental as a whole or equipment and/or parts, please contact SunFun RV Holidays immediately so that we may deal with it promptly and please do not attempt any repairs yourself. Charges for damaged equipment will be based on costs or repair or replacement plus labor. Also contact immediately upon arrival and inspection, SunFun RV Holidays, if the rv rental unit and/or contents are not received as indicated in these conditions.
There will be no refund given for non-functioning equipment and you will be advised if something is not operational. We will however attempt to repair all equipment as soon as possible.
OTHER RV RENTAL PROBLEMS:
Should you lock yourself out of the trailer and/or loose the trailer keys you will be charged a minimum of $50.00 but up to $100.00 for assistance depending on the location of your campsite. This fee will be paid at the time of attendance of a SunFun RV Holidays employee. Please lock and secure all SunFun RV Holidays property whenever vacating the campsite for any time period. This protects your property and possessions as well as ours.
AWNINGS - NEGOTIABLE and will include an ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT.
RV Rental Okanagan BOOKINGS:
Bookings are NOT automatically carried over to the next year. If you want to book for the following year you must contact SunFun RV Holidays and re-book, again showing your reservation for a campsite and include your $500.00 booking/deposit fee.
TV'S / STEREO / RADIO:
Reception in all areas is not guaranteed for radio and/or if a TV is rented.
RV Rental INSURANCE:
Insurance in the rental price of which there is a deductible of $300.00. Deductibles for insurance claims due to customer damage will be taken out of the damage deposit first and any excess billed to the customer's credit card number on file. Your personal property is NOT covered under SunFun RV Holidays insurance package.
RV Rental DAMAGE/CLEAN UP DEPOSIT REFUND:
The booking deposit will be applied as a damage/cleaning/sewage dumping/propane refill deposit while you are renting the unit from SunFun RV Holidays.
Failure to clean the trailer and/or accessories/equipment/unit will result in a $100.00 charge and if excessively dirty the cost of a professional cleaning company. Any smoke or pets being detected in the units add $200.00 for cleaning as this is a zero tolerance rule.
The following is an outline of the check list which you will find in your rental trailer. It will be completed by the renters prior to vacating the rental trailer. Should you have issues with the check sheet you must contact SunFun RV Holidays the first day of your rental holiday. Should the check sheet not be completed when trailer is picked up it may result in the complete forfeiture of your clean-up deposit. The following is an example of what renters are required to complete prior to the completion of your holiday:
All utensils, dishes, pots, pans are to be washed and stored.
All appliances (fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, stove, sinks etc.) must be completely cleaned inside and out.
Sink, countertops, tables and ledges must be clean.
Shower, toilet and bathroom in total must be completely cleaned.
All upholstery must be left brushed off and clean.
All floors must be swept and cleaned.
Outdoor carpet must be swept clean.
BBQ's are to be cleaned if rented.
Tents are to be swept and clean if rented.
Lawn chairs must be cleaned if rented.
RV Rental units MUST BE RETURNED AS YOU RECEIVED THEM.
